gas powered cars vs electric cars vs hybrids

In today’s world you have 3 choices in what your car runs off of. Gas which runs off of unleaded gasoline or diesel. Hybrids  which runs off of gas and electric, and electric which runs of electricity. Unfortunately the usage of gas is bad since there is only a limited amount and is going to rise no matter what. And with gas prices predicted to rise to 5 dollars gas is beginning to look like the wrong choice with only max of 40ish mpg. Hybrids are a step up to better money saver for mpg but still only gets around 60ish max mpg. Finally electric which uses a battery which is charged instead of fuel. Only actual problem with this is the car only goes around 100 miles (Nissan leaf). But then again who travels more than 100 miles in a day?

why is battery life on newer portable systems getting shorter?

If you haven’t noticed battery life on portable systems are getting way shorter, thanks more added features and batter graphics. The original  reason portable systems were created was to play on the go, or on a trip. The battery on most systems have been increasing along with the graphics and features. Til now with the release of the 3ds and psp2. The 3ds gets a max battery life of 3 hours thanks to the 3d generator when the ds lite got 17 max, As for the psp2 the battery life is about 3 hours max thanks to high definition graphics, when the psp 3000 series got about 5 hours max.

companies going green with payslips, too much?

Lately most major companies are going green with payslips and checks. Now they will no longer be handed out and will only be done digitally or your check will be put on a card. With this option your pay check will only be viewable online. But this is only good if you know how to use the internet or have it. Since the web has only been around for public use for about 15 years, most older Americans don’t have a clue how to even use it. So going green with payslips is just too soon.

Video games are getting shorter

Recently video games are getting shorter thanks to online play and increased graphics. But why should we pay 60 for a new game that you can play for 10 hours and beat it on the hardest setting. When the a less graphic game that came out last year for 30 dollars has 20 to 30 hours of game play. Online game play is great if you don’t have to pay for it or you have fast internet, but if you don’t you cant even use half your game your paying for.

playstation move vs xbox 360 kinect

In recent events the playstation move and the xbox 360 kinect came out recently. After trying both of them out, i have come to the conclusion that though the kinect is just $150 the move is better. The move costs  $100 for the camera and remote, plus $50 for the second attachment almost like the wii. The kinect though everyone is praising it, it is slow at sensing movements and is inaccurate. The move is a combo of the wii and the kinect, using the remotes and the camera to sense where the remotes are. Making it extremely accurate, so if i were to buy one of these it would be a playstation move.
